Q1: Adapted from a webcomic originally published on Tumblr and Tapas and then as a graphic novel by Alice Oseman, what Netflix coming-of-age series depicts the complicated relationship between classmates Nick and Charlie?
I watched this - it's Heartstopper. If you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend it. It has some teenage cringe but that's not the predominant feeling, and aside from Nick and Charlie's relationship I really liked how they showed the friendships between teen boys. It was also so great that the boys maintained their friendship with their trans friend after she transitioned and switched schools.

Q2: What entertainer wrote the 1941 detective novel The G-String Murders, but is undoubtedly known for her 1957 autobiography, which was adapted to the stage 2 years later?
Is Funny Girl Fanny Brice's autobiography? I don't think the timing quite works because Barbra Streisand was more 60s-70s. Gypsy Rose Lee? G-String made me think of her. I don't know when she was around but I know it wasn't later than 40s-50s. I don't think I know the stage adaptation, but since I think Funny Girl was later, I'll guess Gypsy Rose Lee.

Q3: Name the comedian who once said about himself, "I'm Southern; I'm gay; I'm little. I get Ma'am'd a lot on the phone."
David Sedaris is gay and little. Is he Southern? I don't think he's Southern. Amy Sedaris definitely isn't, right? Not sure I'd classify him as a comedian, but he's in the ballpark. His voice grates on me but I don't remember a Southern accent. I'll keep thinking about this for a while. It's probably someone from SNL who I've never heard of. Ugh, who is it??
Post-answer thoughts: The name Leslie Jordan sounds vaguely familiar but I had to look him up to see who it was, so I don't feel so bad.

Q5: Julian Schnabel's 1996 debut film is a biopic about a graffiti artist who died at 27 of a heroin overdose, and whose reputation grew exponentially in the years after his death. Name this artist, who was played by Jeffrey Wright in the film, and is also well known for his association with Andy Warhol.
Art is a weak spot for me - no idea at first read-through but I'm probably psyching myself out. I don't know who was associated with Andy Warhol but there's a chance I'll recognize this person's name. I don't think Basquiat is graffiti per se but I saw a Basquiat exhibit in NYC a few years ago and it was at least graffiti-esque. I don't know about the heroin but he would definitely have been dead by 1996. I know there was a movie about him, although I couldn't tell you the year, director, or any actors in it! And I don't know who Jeffrey Wright is so I can't even get confirmation that it's a Black person. My opponent is strong in Art and there's so much info in the question that I don't think it's hard for an art-knower, so I'll defend this one low.

Q6: In 1939, her response to Marian Anderson's being denied the use of Constitution Hall by the Daughters of the American Revolution was to resign from the organization and help arrange Anderson's performance on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Name this political maverick.
I'm pretty sure this is Eleanor Roosevelt. The story sounds vaguely familiar, the timing is right, and Roosevelt is another historical figure claimed as LGBT.
